An ugly piece of fabric made lovely. When I finished the many processes to print/dye this piece of cotton/silk, I really didn’t like it. Too dark. It was about to go in the discard pile. I had made up some discharge paste several days ago. There was a little left. Mounded the fabric on my print table. Filled a syringe with the discharge paste and dropped bits of the paste onto the fabric. Put it out in our 100 + degree heat and periodically checked it. Loved the results. It reminds me of a summer water color.
Hi Jean, great piece after you discharged it!!
